My fiancee arrived at the embassy around 12:45 for her 1:30 interview. It started promptly. She was first interviewed in Cantonese and then in English. Questions included how we met, how many times we met in person, where we met in person, where she was going to live in the US, her relationship with my parents and my relationship with her parents, what my profession is, what her profession is, etc. She was told that all her documents were in order and she had come well prepared. She brought 2-3 copies of all the I-129F documents, medical, financial, birth certificate, copies of pictures of us together, cards I sent her, etc. My fiancee finished by 3PM and was told that her passport would arrive via certified mail in 3-4 days along with the envelope. Her previous travel visa to the US was cancelled.

After the completion of our case (CR1) at the NVC, it was forwarded to the Hong Kong Embassy. It was 2 days after the Embassy received the case when I received my appointment letter for medical. HK Embassy is really fast and very efficient. It was exactly one month from their receipt of our case to the date of my interview. On the day of my interview, I submitted all my documents that support my application. The VO even takes a look at our wedding photos page to page. I was asked so many questions. They ask questions too fast, and I have to listen carefully and be smart in answering. After my interview, the VO congratulates me that my papers have no problem and that I will be issued a visa. He handed me a yellow card to pay for my visa delivery. It was 4:45pm when I went out of the Embassy. I was there from 1:30pm.
